These chapters were fierce and brave but also I thought had alot of friendship.  Dally had come to get Ponyboy and Johnny and he took them to Dairy-queen for a bite to eat, because they were all starved to death,  Johnny figured its better to turn themselves in.  They went back to the church to find a big crowd surrounding the front only the find that the church was on fire,  seems to be the people who were surrounding was a class having a picnic, and five kids or so were inside after they were told not to be, all trapped in a little room.  Ponyboy and Johnny went inside to save them, got the kids out fine but Johhny didn’t make it out alright, He did make it out but very badly injured and Dally got injured trying to rescue Johnny. 

Johnny is now in the hopsital hopefully nothing bad happens to Johnny, Ponyboys alright and Dally just has some burns but he’ll be fine.

Things are settled now between Darry and Pony I’m kinda glad because I used to not like Darry that much now I do because hes treating Ponyboy a little better and there getting through to eachother which is alot better,  At the end of this Chapter Ponyboy was talking to Cherry in the vacanct lot about Randy, the Soc who was Bobs great friend,  She explained to him how close him and Randy were Since earlier that day Randy stopped by them in the blue mustang and took Ponyboy in the car to talk to. 

After Pony boy had to talked to him thy went to the hospital and Johnny isn’t well.  When they left the room Johnny had completely passed out and was whiter than the pillow. 

The same day they have a rumble in the Vacant lot we’ll see what happens after the Rumble.  From what Randy said in the car to Ponyboy earlier it doesn’t seem like he’ll be fighting at it not because he was chicken but because he was sick and tired of everything.

In these chapters Johnny gets some supplies that are useful to them, baloney,two loaves of bread,a box of matches and things that they need, johnny also got pony a paper back copy of gone with the wind since he always wanted one so bad.

Johnny and Pony cut and bleached there hair to disguise themselves, Poor ponyboy didn’t want to risk loosing his hai but he needed to for disguise, there still hiding out in the old church,  and there gettin sick of the baloney. 

They’ve been out there for over a week now.  

Dally woke up pony, he wassoo amazed to see him, they hadn’t eaten nothing so he took them out for breakfast.  Dally handed pony a note from Soda, telling him that they miss him lots and darry didn’t mean to hit him. 

Dally told them that theres a war happening between the greasers and Socs, in the vacancy lot.

These two Chapters are getting more into the book,  I really like this book!  Darry Hits Ponyboy, Wow I didn’t ever think that would happen although Darry seems pretty scary,  After this occured Ponyboy ran away to Johnnys house.  The reason why darry him was because Ponyboy came home at two in the morning because he fell asleep in the Vacancy lot.

  Johnny and ponyboy ran back to the fountain in the park when along came the blue mustang they ran into earlier,  Ponyboy and Johnny fought the five Socs who were against them, What ended up happening is the Socs pushed Ponyboy into the fountain and almost killed him by drowning him in the fountain, Johnny now had to fight alone,  he also had a blade on him that became very useful. 

Johnny killed Bob the handsome and rich Soc, who owned the mustang after this happened they had no choice but to run away,  So at bucks party that Dally was at thats where they headed, Buck was mean and ponyboy didn’t like him that much, But Dally did and he was over there lots.

When they saw Dally they told him what happened and he gave Ponyboy some dry clothing and money, he told them there was a train that will take them to this old church where they could stay for about a week, with the amount of money they would have only $50  they went and got on the train and now where they are in is the old abandoned church.

The word i picked out for this Chapter is Survival becuase Johnny and Ponyboy are now trying to survive in an old church with the only clothing there wearing now and $50 to live on to buy things.  Hopefully things don’t get worse.
